Construction Estimator / Project Manager

Job Position: Construction Estimator / Project Manager

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for the preparation of budgets, bids, and Rates. As part of daily tasks, you will interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications, solicit contractors, perform take offs, write project scopes of work, and then communicate the project needs to the technicians ensuring their understanding and the completeness of the scopes of work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Estimator, Construction Project Manager, or Construction Supervisor.

Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word.

Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lead as well as work within a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Quantify project components.

Estimate scope of work required based on takeoffs from plan drawings.

Visit project to understand site conditions/restrictions.

Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates.

Schedule and dispatch field employees and sub-contractors for most efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials.

Plan & coordinate project logistics to complete the work on time, within budget, and to quality specified.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time M-F 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Qualifications

Work experience within the commercial construction field is required.

OSHA 10 or 30 is required.

Experience cutting concrete with specialty concrete cutting tools is required.

Asphalt Cutting experience is required.

Core drilling experience is required.

Construction Garage Attendant

Responsibilities

Making trailered equipment and product deliveries.

Washing vehicles and equipment.

Fixing small gear driven tools, extension cords, electrical / gas equipment.

Shoveling snow.

Cleaning bathrooms, floors, offices, garages.

Receiving inventory shipments.

Organizing inventory.

Anything and everything else needed to be done to help all operations within company.

Qualifications

Valid Driving License.
